One Continuing World
Version 8 is built around persistent player identity, characters, careers, ranks, Rank Points, Credits, tasks, gameplay state, and media references.

General Public
Members can participate in the wider community but do not receive EX101 operational access by default.
Board the EX101
Civilians can board the ship, primarily use Deck 3 and designated civilian areas, and may choose an optional civilian occupation.
Serve Aboard
Crew members require an approved occupation. Their operational role determines Bridge or deck access.
